Look up pitzerker/pitsinger, the dbrunski video for example. Is it the most fun way to play a game? Maybe not for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed completing my grail that way. Since special uniques always drop twice as well, player count doesn't matter as well so you can be quick as can be. Find item means he is quicker with more mf as his kills are worth approx 1.5 times the loot. Granted, grailing might not be for everyone and that would probably be the main reason so many people play sorc and paladin.įact remains that, and I say it again for grailing in the pits, barbarian is amazing and certainly not oceans behind. Moreover, for me rune farming wasn't the most important for me (and may not be the most important for OP) as I played pluggy and runefarming is used to trade with other people. The fact that they dominated the ladder, as you say, has everything to do with them being better and nothing with botting? And before you ask, why aren't there bots for your barb, I'm not sure, but it could be because gearing a paladin/sorc jis easier, plus they are capable to kill nearly everything in game while pitsinger/pitzerkers focus on elite and champion monsters only. Even while runefarming a zerker isn't oceans behind when doing council runs.
